Service Agreement

Child Information, Health, and SafetyRequired

I agree to provide accurate information regarding medical history, allergies, and any special considerations, and to notify Tokyo Little Hands immediately of any changes. I also agree that the service may be refused, suspended, or terminated in cases such as fever, vomiting, severe coughing, or suspected infectious illness.

Scope of Service and Prohibited ActivitiesRequired

This service is limited to childcare. As a general rule, we do not provide meals, drive or ride in vehicles, perform hazardous or high-place tasks, carry heavy items, perform specialized cleaning, or provide medical services. Bathing, water play, pool or seaside activities, and accompanying the child outside the premises are also generally not permitted unless prior written approval has been obtained from Tokyo Little Hands.

Cancellations and ChangesRequired

More than 48 hours in advance: 0%. 24-48 hours in advance: 50%. Less than 24 hours in advance or no-show: 100%. If the booking time is shortened, the shortened portion will be treated as a cancellation.

Use of Indoor CamerasRequired

If you wish to use indoor cameras, you must disclose this in advance. No recording will take place in bathrooms or toilets.

Emergency ResponseRequired

In an emergency, I consent to Tokyo Little Hands taking immediate action, including first aid, calling 119 or 110, and arranging medical consultation, treatment, or transportation to a medical facility, even if I cannot be reached. Any costs advanced or paid by Tokyo Little Hands in connection with such actions, including but not limited to ambulance or emergency transport fees, medical consultation, medication, tests, payments to medical institutions, taxi or public transportation costs, travel or extended accommodation costs for parents or guardians, interpretation, international calls or communications, actual costs for reissuing facility keys or cards, and other reasonable expenses, will be settled at a later date.

Prohibition on Direct EngagementRequired

I agree not to enter into a direct contract with any babysitter introduced by Tokyo Little Hands without going through Tokyo Little Hands. I also agree that, for one year from the start of service use, I will not make direct requests, solicitations, or referrals outside of Tokyo Little Hands. In the event of a violation, I agree to pay, as liquidated damages, the greater of JPY 500,000 or 50% of the total amount of the direct transaction. This amount may be adjusted by a court to the extent permitted by law.

Limitation of LiabilityRequired

Tokyo Little Hands’ liability for damages is limited to the greater of the total amount paid for the applicable booking or USD 1,000, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence. Matters involving life or personal injury will be handled appropriately in accordance with applicable law.

Governing Law, Jurisdiction, and LanguageRequired

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Japan, and the Tokyo District Court or Tokyo Summary Court shall have exclusive agreed jurisdiction. The Japanese version shall be the official text, and the English version is provided for reference only.
