Terms of Use

Article 1 (Application)

These terms (the “Terms”) set out the conditions under which the Company (Tokyo Little Hands) provides the babysitting services (the “Service”). Users agree to these Terms when using the Service.

Article 2 (Service Description)

• The Company dispatches English-speaking sitters to a location designated by the User and provides short-term childcare.
• Use is in principle for a minimum of 2 hours, and extensions are in increments of 30 minutes.

Article 3 (Reservation & Payment)

• Reservations are confirmed via the Company’s designated online payment method.
• A contract is concluded at the time of successful payment, and the Company will provide the Service at the reserved date and time.
• Any payment or bank transfer fees are borne by the User.
• If payment is not completed, the reservation becomes invalid.

Article 4 (Cancellation)

• Cancellation up to 24 hours before the start of service: free of charge.
• Cancellation within 24 hours of the start: 50% of the fee.
• No-show (unauthorized cancellation): 100% of the fee.
• Refunds will generally be made to the same payment method used.

Article 5 (Intellectual Property Rights)

Text, images, logos and other content on this site belong to the Company or the rights-holder, and unauthorized reproduction or re-publication is prohibited.

Article 6 (Prohibited Acts)

The following are prohibited: providing false information, reselling for profit, direct solicitation of sitters for contracts, etc.

Article 7 (User’s Indemnification Obligation)

If a User causes damage to a third party as a result of using the Service, the User shall compensate such damage at their own expense and hold the Company harmless.

Article 8 (Liability & Force Majeure)

In the event that the Company is unable to provide the Service due to reasons beyond its reasonable control—such as natural disasters, communication failures, epidemics, or other force majeure—the Company shall not be held liable.

Article 9 (Modification of Terms & Service Termination)

The Company may change these Terms or terminate the Service without prior notice. Changes take effect when posted on the site.

Article 10 (Guidelines, etc.)

Safety Guidelines, FAQ and other materials form part of these Terms.

Article 11 (Governing Law & Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, and the Tokyo District Court or the Tokyo Summary Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
